Disclaimer: I have not tried any of the designs yet but have thoroughly reviewed the book and the directions. I have more than gazed pictures but those alone are wonderful. I have experience in all three crafts. This is a British publications so yarn weights and crochet directions are given in the typical UK terminology. There are conversion charts in the back of the book. The yarns used are likely not available though with the conversion tables you should be able to make very nice substitutions. The book is paperback but it is a very sturdy paperback. The designs are delightful and there are plenty of designs for newborn to 36 months.
The sewing projects tend to have photographic tutorials. Several of these designs are lined. Sewing patterns are included on folded sheets safely tucked into a pocket in the back cover. These designs include patchwork, embroidery, open toe, boots, and a puppy dog... Fabrics include suedette, leatherette, wool felt, crisp cottons, gingham, fake fur... The two wool felt and the puppy dog front shoes are unlined and would likely make up very quickly.
The crochet patterns as mentioned above are written in UK terms. They include a very vintage crochet t-strap bootie, a watermelon high top bootie, cowboy boots, cute teddy bear front slippers, an athletic style shoe, a mary jane with a crochet top and soft leather sole...
The knitting patterns are similarly varied with some animal fronts, "ballet" slippers, adorable elfin boots,a couple snug fit booties, criss cross strap, and high tops.
Basic sewing, embroidery, crochet, and knitting techniques are in the back. Several projects call for nonslip soles and there is a tutorial in the back for add on soles and baby-toddler sizing.
This is a great collection of patterns in a very nice quality format.

Baby Booties and Slippers 30 Designs to Stitch Knit and Crochet edition by Susie Johns Crafts Hobbies Home eBooks Reviews
Was a little disappointed in the finished products. Did not see the book except for the pages they let you see, and those of course are the better looking finished product. I like my finished item to look like it wasn't home made. Professional looking.
Beautiful book on shoes and booties
Innovative, beautiful and easy to make baby booties.
great
I RETURNED THIS BOOK BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD HAVE MORE CROCHET BABY BOOTIES. IT IS A VERY CUTE BOOK. BUT TOO MANY SEWING AND KNITTING PATTERNS FOR ME.
Great ideas for little booties for people who are handy with their hands.
Lots of cute designs, good color pictures and thorough instructions. Pattern pieces are easy to identify and have different colored lines for different sizes. I borrowed this book from the library several times and finally decided to buy my own copy.
